Bell continues to lead the industry with the most French HD channels

MONTREAL, Quebec, Oct. 11 /CNW Telbec/ - Bell Canada today announced the
availability of five new French High Definition channels, bringing Bell's
total HD channel count to more than 60. ExpressVu digital TV from Bell
delivers more HD channels than any other Canadian TV provider, including the
most French HD channels.
Launching this week and available to new and existing subscribers, the
five new French HD channels offer something for everyone including movies,
reality TV, Quebec produced dramas, kids programming for ages 6-14, history,
technology and more. These new French HD channels follow last week's RDS HD
launch, which began broadcasting the 07/08 NHL season in HD on October 3.
"With more than 60 HD channels, Bell continues to offer more HD
programming than any other digital TV provider in Canada, delivering an
unmatched portfolio of new and exciting entertainment," said Kevin Crull,
President, Bell Residential Services. "As the HD leader, Bell continues to
provide the only Full HD experience which includes superior picture quality,
the most HD channels and our industry-leading HD Personal Video Recorder."
In an effort to educate consumers on the requirements for true HD
experience, Bell is bringing its Full HD Tour to the Bell Centre in Montreal
on Saturday October 13. The HD Tour will be open to the public from 10 am to
11 pm. The Tour arrives just in time for the Montreal Canadiens first home
game, available in HD via RDS, on ExpressVu channel 863.
