Bell launches unlimited data access for wireless connection cards - Laptop computer cards connect on Canada's fastest wireless data network
Sep 19, 2007
TORONTO, Ontario, Sept. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Bell today announced a new
unlimited email and Internet plan for wireless connection cards, which provide
fast, secure and convenient mobile data access for laptop computers across
Bell Mobility's national high speed data network.
"Demand for wireless connection cards has soared as businesspeople and
consumers take their laptops on the road to move large business files,
multimedia and other data," said Adel Bazerghi, Vice President, Products for
Bell Mobility. "Combined with our new unlimited data plan, these cards allow
clients on the go real freedom to access the Internet or connect to other
networks quickly, securely, and from wherever they may be in our national
network coverage."
Connection cards allow secure, on-the-go access to the Internet, email,
network applications or corporate VPNs, fit into standard laptop card slots
and are very easy to use:
- No wires, cables or phone jacks required
- No need to search for a Wi-Fi hot spot
- Speed is not shared with other users
- The connection is unique and secure
- Avoids costly hotel Internet usage fees
Bell's new plan offers unlimited email and Internet for $75 per month.

Lighter-duty plans are also available beginning at $25 per month.
Bell offers the widest selection of connection cards in Canada, including

These connection cards operate on Bell's high speed mobile network
(EVDO Rev A), the fastest wireless data network available across Canada,
offering peak upload speeds of up to 1.8 megabits per second (Mbps) and peak
download speeds of up to 3.1 Mbps. About 70% of the Canadian population is
